BlackBerry Priv Pre-Orders go live in UK, US and Canada, shipping November 6

As we reported in the early hours of this morning, BlackBerry Priv pre-orders are now live in the UK, US and Canada.

Purchasing from ShopBlackBerry, the BlackBerry Priv will cost $699 unlocked in the US, while in Canada it’ll cost you $899 and here in the UK it will cost you £559.

All three countries have a shipping date of November 6.

BlackBerry did launch the pre-order pages the other day and quickly removed them.  From the original pre-order page, it would appear that BlackBerry have dropped the prices by $50 and removed the Qi Wireless Charging from the specs.

This is probably one of the most unuusal “launches” ever seen by BlackBerry.  Pre-Orders available for the phone while the phone still hasn’t had an official announcement, or any launch event announced.

BlackBerry Priv features a 5.4 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot for up to 2TB of removable storage. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, an 18MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, and a 3,310 mAh battery.

The phone supports 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE. It supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0. You can check out the full priv specs here.
