Have you upgraded your BES12 to version 12.1 and discoverd that some of your licenses are missing? BES12Ã‚Â Perpetual licenses are version locked and require Software Assurance before the entitlement is valid for the latest release.
This sometimes happens when a BES2 is upgraded to the latest service pack, any BES12 Perpetual Licenses (Silver, BlackBerry or Secure Work Space) will require updating to match the version of the BES12.
- A valid support contract with Software Assurance
- Sufficient per license fee support to cover all perpetual licenses
With the Software Assurance pre-requisites satisfied follow these steps:
- Login to myAccount
- Click on Software Assurance
- Proceed to update the required licenses.
With the new Activation IDs, proceed to activate the licenses using the BES12 Management Console.
