Microsoft on Tuesday announced the appointment of Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, to its board of directors effective immediately. Microsoft also announced its board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.39 per share.  The dividend is payable June 8, 2017.

IBM and Visa have revealed a partnership to use the Watson IoT platform to expand digital payments to connected cars, wearables, and other devices. The collaboration brings together IBM’s Watson IoT platform and cognitive capabilities, withVisa’s global payments services that are used by more than 3 billion consumers globally.
Samsung announced today that it is bringing Samsung Pay to Puerto Rico. Starting today, Samsung Pay will support eligible credit cards from Banco Popular, Puerto Rico’s largest bank.
