Apple has launched a new service that automates the process of transferring a copy of your iCloud Photos to Google Photos. The service is initially available to customers in Australia, Canada, the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, the UK, and the U.S. for transfers to Google Photos.
