Three UK is currently suffering a mobile network across the UK leaving thousands of customers unable to access the internet or make phone calls.
Vodafone UK is currently experiencing an outage across the United Kingdom today, leaving thousands of customers unable to access 4G internet or make calls. Particular hotspots appear to include London and the south of England, as well as Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
Customers of all four major UK mobile networks, O2, EE, Vodafone and 3, are having issues today making calls, and comes as millions of workers across the country are staying home to work to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Facebook is was working to resolve issues faced by some users while sending and receiving media files on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The outages appear to be connected to US cybersecurity firm Cloudflare which has been affected by an outage at telecommunications provider Verizon.
Facebook has suffered another outage of its services a month after a server upgrade left users unable to use its Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram services for almost a day. Services were restored within hours of reports emerging about the outage.
O2 and its Spanish parent Telefónica have scheduled crisis talks with Swedish telecoms provider Ericsson on Monday, over Thursday’s day-long collapse of O2’s data network, and it is understood that the company will be seeking millions in damages from Ericsson.
Millions of O2 customers who were left unable to use their mobile data for almost 24 hours will be given compensation, the carrier has confirmed.O2 said it had finally fixed the issue, which also affected Giffgaff, Lycamobile,Sky Mobile and Tesco Mobile, at 3.27am today.
