Apple has quietly released a firmware update for its recently launched AirPods Pro wireless earbuds.  Apple launched AirPods Pro earlier this month with firmware version 2B584 and the updated version shows as version 2B588.
Apple today unveiled AirPods Pro that features Active Noise Cancellation and superior, immersive sound in an all-new lightweight, in-ear design. AirPods Pro uses advanced technology to let users listen to music, make phone calls, enjoy TV shows and movies, play games and interact with Siri.
Apple has announced the second generation of its AirPods, which include the new in-house H1 chip developed for headphones and the option of either a standard case or new Wireless Charging Case. The AirPods also offer hands-free Siri for the first time. Apple says H1 offers up to 50% more talk time than the prior generation and 2x faster connection times.
Apple’s AirPods work seamlessly with iPhones but they’re also standard Bluetooth headphones, which means they will work with any device that supports Bluetooth audio, including a PC, Windows laptop and even Android phones. The pairing process isn't as automatic as pairing with an iPhone, but they’ll pair pretty much the same way other bluetooth earphones do and if you’re using a Mac or iPad, the pairing process is even easier.
