Vodafone Call+ & Message+ lets you interact with users during a call

Vodafone UK has announced Call+ & Message+ for Android users, which will allow users to interact in a bunch of extra ways and do much more than just talk to the person on the other end of the phone.

Call+ follows the company’s previous launch of Wi-Fi Calling on select handsets. When you’re making a call with Call+ to another Call+ user, you’ll be able to add extra info like the subject of the call and its level of importance.

You could set up a Call+ call with the subject being ‘Where to meet me tomorrow’, for instance, so that the person you’re calling can get a better idea of whether it’s urgent or not.

Likewise, you can also add your location to your call or attach a picture, which will flash up on the recipient’s screen.

Vodafone Call+ offers:

  • Let your friends know why you are calling even before they answer by adding importance, a subject, your location and a picture, that will be visible when the call rings.
  • Share picture, location, contact card or any file while talking , without leaving the call.
  • Let others see through your eyes by switching to video on the move
  • Leave a voice message or a text message when a call is not answered. This will be visible on your contact’s missed call notification thread.
  • View all the information and content shared within the calls from your logs

Vodafone Message+ offers:

  • Text anyone and rest assured that your message will be delivered to any contacts regardless on the mobile or network
  • Get all your SMS and chat replies back in one single inbox and in one message thread per contact
  • Share photos, audio, videos and stickers with contacts immediately, even if they do not have Message+ installed
  • Express yourself in new ways with fun stickers
  • Extended Message+ functions by installing Add-Ons
  • Chat with your Message+ friends and have as many group chats you like at the same time

Viewing your history will unlock useful information from previous calls, including pictures, maps and more.

Owners of the Xperia Z5 (or Compact) or Xperia Z3 (or Compact) running latest firmware will have Call+ already integrated into their phone.

For everyone else on Vodafone, you can grab the Call+ and Messenger+ from the Google Play Store.
