Nine Samsung Experience stores, operated by Carphone Warehouse, officially open today (9 April) in the UK.
The nine new stores will be located in London, two in Newcastle, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford, Cardiff and Bournemouth, and will be open in time for the Galaxy S5 launch on Friday.
Announced in January, the UK rollout follows the opening of 19 stores across Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and Ireland.
Carphone Warehouse CEO Andrew Harrison said:
‘We are delighted to have been chosen by Samsung as its preferred European partner for its experience store rollout. In line with the launch of the brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 this week we’re opening the first UK stores, including one in the heart of London’s shopping district on Oxford Street.
