Euro Tech Week Kicks Off At CES 2018

Events Include Matchmaking, Global Startup Pitches, Forums, Parties, and Receptions

Global startups and digital stakeholders will all be networking during Euro Tech Week happening at CES 18.

The Euro Tech Week allows CES international visitors and exhibitors to meet, exchange, and possibly start collaborating between themselves and with US counterparts before and during CES.

The Euro Tech Business Lounge is the most important global “VIP like” networking, co-working, and shared suite ever put together for CES.

This year, Euro Tech Week, in partnership with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), will be held at Harrah’s Hotel & Casino. comprising 20,000+ sq. ft. of VIP lounge, 2,000+ participants, 1,000+ meetings, 80+ startup pitches to 50+ investors, and sponsored parties/receptions each evening; including a recognized event on Tuesday, January 9, celebrating the French tech ecosystem.

There will also be a Smart Society Forum, and ICOFest event dedicated to crypto-currencies and ICOs, and a Women in Tech Night.

“Last year’s Euro Tech Week at CES 2017 was so successful that we decided to greatly expand the program,” says Sebastien Torre, president of the European American Enterprise Council (EAEC) and Euro Tech Week co-organizer – with Las Vegas Events ITS Services, also affiliated with EAEC.

Torre added that the various events at the Harrah’s will provide an excellent opportunity for global startups to showcase their solutions and meet with business leaders and potential investors, and for all the participants to learn about the latest global innovations across an extensive array of technology vertical markets.

Several European organizations representing European Commission’s initiatives, will also be participating; these include Enterprise European Network (EEN), NearUS (now ENRICH), BILAT USA 4.0, Ready2Go, and Overseas Trade Fair Program.

Another key event of the Euro Tech Week: The Enterprise Europe Network B2B matchmaking platform and event- co-organized by EAEC and the European Commission’s network and supported by the US Department of Commerce. European and American startups are paired with investors, buyers, distributors, and digital decision makers.

The European American Enterprise Council (EAEC) is a private member-driven social enterprise and network (eight US and EU chapters). EAEC is part of the European Commission’s Enterprise Europe Network (600+ organizations in Europe, and a worldwide presence), and aims at promoting transatlantic collaboration, trade and investment between European and North American companies, institutions and economic regions, while fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

EAEC is also a part of the European Commission’s NearUS (now “ENRICH in the USA”) initiative, started in April 2017 to establish a network of European Research and Innovation Acceleration Centers throughout the United States that will act as a central contact point for European research and innovation actors – clusters, universities, R&D labs/centers, researchers, start-ups, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) – seeking to grow and reinforce collaboration. The mission of the network is to provide standardized as well as tailor-made, research and innovation international support services to European researchers and innovators, to accelerate their exposure and access to the US market.
