Huawei Hosts 5G Ecosystem Exhibition at Reading HQ

Following its presence at Mobile World Congress 2019 earlier this year, Huawei will host an exhibition highlighting its knowledge and expertise around 5G.  The exhibition will also present several of Huawei’s products and solutions that will bring its MWC theme “Building a Fully Connected, Intelligent World” to life.

The “Mini-MWC” exhibition, held at Huawei’s offices in Green Park, Reading, will see the company demo its end-to-end 5G products and solutions, ranging from simplified 5G sites and 5G integrated transport, to 5G cloud.

Huawei will also demonstrate its core technologies behind the new products and solutions, including radio frequency, optical transmission, IP, and IT. In addition, as the first company in the industry to launch commercial 5G chips and devices, there will also be demos of 8K high-definition (HD) live streaming, Cloud VR, cloud gaming, and cloud PCs.

Jerry Wang, CEO of Huawei Technologies UK, said

“As a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure, we are committed to helping our partners and customers expand the boundaries of their business and find paths to new growth. This exhibition will illustrate how 5G can power that change with in-depth discussion from our in-house experts, as well as insight into the latest industry trends across all sectors”.

The exhibition is further evidence of Huawei’s expertise around innovating networks, services, and business models. Utilising a portfolio of innovative business solutions, including IoT cloud services, personal mobile services, five-star premium home broadband, and cloud-network convergence, the company works closely with industry organisations to deliver key contributions to future network infrastructure, cyber security, security policies and standards targeting vertical industries.

Huawei works with every major telecoms provider in the UK and will be hosting delegations from their customers. Around 250 people are expected to visit the exhibition which has been created especially for those who were unable to attend Mobile World Conference earlier this year.
