Apple release iOS 9 Beta 3 and watchOS 2 Beta 3 to developers

Apple has released iOS 9 Beta 3 to developers, adding support for the Apple Music streaming service. It can be downloaded from Apple’s iOS Developer Resource site, or over the air on a device with the previous beta installed.

iOS 9 beta 3 allows developers to use Apple Music on their iPhones and iPads, taking advantage of on-demand music streaming, the new and improved iTunes Radio with the live-broadcasting Beats 1 at the center, and Connect, a new social network connecting artists to their fans.

Apple is expected to release a public beta of iOS 9 in the coming days which will be more stable for average users.

watchOS 2 Beta 3

Going hand in hand with the new iOS 9 beta, Apple has released the third developer beta version of watchOS 2. Developers will need the latest iOS 9 beta, in addition the to the watchOS configuration profile, which can be found at the watchOS resource site.

When watchOS 2 arrives later this year, it will bring with it a number of improvements for the Apple Watch. Developers will be able to write apps that run natively on the watch, and take advantage of more of its hardware. Developers will also be able to build their own complications for watch faces that support that feature.
