Huawei nova 5T launching in UK in November

At an event in Paris today, Huawei announced the launch of the European version of the Huawei nova 5T. Available next month, the nova 5T is the first Huawei phone available in the UK with a hole punch display à la Samsung’s Galaxy S10 series. The device boasts a 6.26-inch LCD display with a 1080p resolution.

One UI Beta 2 opens for Galaxy S10

Samsung is officially rolling out the first Android 10-based One UI 2.0 beta for Galaxy S10 phones in the UK.  Owners of a Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, S10e, or S10 5G can sign up for the beta program using their Samsung account.

Google releases October 2019 Android Security Bulletin and Google Device Images

Google has released the October 2019 Android Security Bulletin, giving carriers and device makers a fresh set of patches to install. Google device firmware images have also been released to the Google Developer site. Though Google puts out the Android security patches each month, the job of actually getting the fixes to end users falls on the telcos and/or device manufacturers themselves. Those partners vary in their ability to release the patches in a timely fashion.

Huawei is slowly but surely launching its Huawei Mate 30 series of smartphones outside of China.  In addition to being able for pre-order in Malaysia, the Huawei Mate 30 series is now available to order online in Romania from Quickmobile, an established online retailer in Romania.

EMUI 10 Roadmap released by Huawei

Huawei has released its official roadmap for the EMUI 10 update, which is based on Android 10. All of the company's two-year-old flagships will receive the update and even year-old mid-range phones like the Honor 9X are set to get their second major updates.
