Huawei Mate X Foldable Smartphone goes on sale in China

Back in October,  Huawei launched its foldable Mate X smartphone and the device is now available to buy in China. The Mate X, which unfolds to 5.8 inches wide, went on sale Friday on Huawei´s online store in China priced at 16,999 yuan (£1,900 / $2,422). Those who did not manage to buy a Mate X on Friday will get another chance on 22 November when a second batch will go on sale.

Huawei x Gentle Monster Smart Eyewear now available in UK

Huawei x Gentle Monster Smart Eyewear series is officially available to buy in the UK. Unlike Google Glass, there’s no heads-up display. Essentially, it looks like a normal earwear that has an integrated Bluetooth headset. It has built-in dual speakers with a semi-open design and dual microphones on the temple which uses AI for noise reduction

Galaxy S10 update brings more Note10 Features

Huawei nova 5T now available in UK

The European version of the Huawei nova 5T is now available in the UK. The nova 5T is the first Huawei phone available in the UK with a hole punch display à la Samsung’s Galaxy S10 series. The device boasts a 6.26-inch LCD display with a 1080p resolution.

Huawei Mate 20 X 5G now available from O2

O2 is finally carrying the Huawei Mate X 5G, available on O2 custom plans from today. The 5G phone is available to order on 5G plans ranging from £46.03 per month to £64.03 per month.  All plans come with a £30 upfront cost. 

Google releases November 2019 Android Security Bulletin and Google Device Images

Google has released the November 2019 Android Security Bulletin, giving carriers and device makers a fresh set of patches to install. Google device firmware images have also been released to the Google Developer site. Though Google puts out the Android security patches each month, the job of actually getting the fixes to end users falls on the telcos and/or device manufacturers themselves. Those partners vary in their ability to release the patches in a timely fashion.

Huawei sells 100,000 Mate 30 5G units in one minute

Huawei Mate 30 5G and Mate 30 Pro 5G went on sale in China today and the company sold 100,000 units in just one minute. The 5G variants proved to be a hit in China just as much as the non-5G models, allowing Huawei to rake in CNY 500 million per minute during the sale.

Huawei nova 5T launching in UK in November

At an event in Paris today, Huawei announced the launch of the European version of the Huawei nova 5T.
