Configure.IT, a cloud-based mobile app development platform, recently launched Android support. Now it is available for both iOS and Android platforms to build native apps without coding.
Configure.IT announced Android support on 15th July 2015, after getting a successful response to the iOS platform. With the introduction of the Android Platform, one can now build iOS apps without coding and port it for the Android app with a single click and vice-versa. The support for Android also offers smart workflow to handle multiple screen densities used by the variety of Android devices. With the help of various tools provided, any non-programmer can also build apps without having knowledge of coding.
The users of iOS development get the same features for Android platform, too. Plenty of features place it a little ahead of other contemporary platforms.
The PreviewIT app (available on the App Store and the Play Store), allows users to preview changes made to the apps instantly, directly on smartphones and tablets.
The platform has the back-end tools – tightly integrated with apps that allow to design complete relational database with MySQL driven database builder and SQLite database for offline apps. Above all, one can also design the enterprise Data Management panel – with the option of building custom modules as and when required. The tool also offers a way to define APIs with flow chart-based interface and 3rd Party API connector that doesn’t require to code. These combined features make it possible to build a complex application solution as a whole.
Users can also download the fully extendible native source code – for iOS apps (Objective-C), Android Apps (Java) and complete back-end (MySQL/PHP). The back-end source code can be hosted on any hosting provider of the choice – a “Zero Lock-In†platform.
ConfigureIT’s founder, Mr. Ram Chhawchharia states,
“Being in the software development business for more than a decade, knowing what pain the developers go through. Just want to make app development effortless, save the development time for developers, so that time can’t be spent in doing obvious things, rather focus on the larger business problem to be solved and delivering a focused user experience.”
The “Do-IT-Yourself†platform has different pricing packages. With the basic account, developers can try all aspects of the platform, and even generate co-branded apps to be submitted to the app store or the Play store. Developers only need a paid account to generate custom branded app, or to download the source code of the app and back-end.
