BlackBerry QNX to unveil Secure Automotive Tech at CES 2020

BlackBerry QNX will be at CES 2020, where they will be unveiling automotive technologies built on BlackBerry QNX software.

BlackBerry’s presence at this year’s CES conference will centre on AI-driven security innovations, and the role disruptive technologies play in the evolution of smart auto and transportation.

BlackBerry will have a booth at the show. The BlackBerry Labs team will be showing an AI-powered solution for the vehicle software lifecycle, built on QNX technology .

Damon’s next generation Hypersport motorcycle will be on show in the #FutureOfMotorcycling Interactive Experience. Try the augmented reality experience, featuring a 360° collision warning system and a dynamic adjustment of riding position on a rideable bike.  BlackBerry QNX is the technology at the core of Damon’s production sensing platform.

The company will show an interactive demo of how BlackBerry QNX and AWS are working together to deliver a safe, secure and intelligent edge-to-cloud connected car platform.

Renovo and BlackBerry QNX have partnered to develop safety-critical data management solutions for vehicles. On show will be Insight, Renovo’s automotive data management platform, winner of the CES 2020 Innovation Award in action. This edge-first data platform leverages BlackBerry QNX technology and uses AI-powered automation to deliver ADAS and autonomous driving solutions for next generation vehicles.

BlackBerry will also be demonstrating a Lane Departure Warning System, where you will be able to see how an ANSYS system running on BlackBerry QNX helps keep cars in their lane and increases safety in autonomous driving scenarios.

Visitors will also be able to see the new flagship vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover.  The JLR Defender has a fully digital instrument cluster and next generation infotainment system, that leverages BlackBerry QNX technology.
