BlackBerry CEO John Chen speaking at Waterloo Innovation Summit tomorrow

BlackBerry CEO John seems to be everywhere these days.  Tomorrow, (September 17) he will be speaking at a “Fireside Chat” at the Waterloo Innovation Summit, which is currently taking place in Canada.

Joining Chen will be Cary Burch, Senior Vice President of Innovation for Thomson Reuters.

The common theme will be identifying what it takes to build world-class innovation ecosystems.

“BlackBerry has enjoyed relationships with innovation ecosystems around the world. John Chen is ideally suited to talk about the dynamics between a large firm and a local innovation ecosystem.”

The conference features leaders from the tech world and government and runs through Friday and is a collaboration between Communitech and the University of Waterloo.
