BlackBerry hosting invite-only events in London, Toronto and Dubai on September 24

BlackBerry have announced that they will be hosting invite-only events in Toronto, London and Dubai to launch the BlackBerry Passport and perhaps more.

The events ‘See The Bigger Picture’ obviously relate to the screen size of the Passport.

BlackBerry is targeting the Passport at “certain industries and sectors, and roles within companies.  John Sims president of enterprise services has stated,

“If you look at the screen real estate we have to work with, or the keyboard,” said Sims of the larger, squarer-looking device, “these things will apply in certain markets – perhaps healthcare, financial services – people who access a lot of charts and so on.”

The BlackBerry Passport is a unique, innovative smartphone that already has had many talking about the device months before its release.

The main specs we currently know are a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM, a 13MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 32GB on-board internal memory, a non removable 3450mAh battery and will be the first BlackBerry device to support the NANO sim card.

We think that with the right pricing and marketing, the BlackBerry Passport will be a high-end smartphone for everyone.
