BBM for BlackBerry Beta brings PayPal Payments to the UK and six other countries

At the beginning of the month, BlackBerry released an update to BBM Beta for Android which brought PayPal payments to the UK and five other countries.

BlackBerry have now released the beta for BlackBerry 10 users.

This means that users on the beta program can now send money to users in other countries.

The latest BBM Beta for BlackBerry 10 bring PayPal payments not only to the UK but to users in USA, France, Germany, Italy, South Africa and Spain. Both Sender and Receivers must be located in one of these countries. This is in addition to Canada, where the initial beta launched.

Using PayPal with BBM is simple! Just connect your PayPal account to your BBM. Once your BBM contacts do the same, you can start sending and receiving money.

In addition the beta brings two other new features:

Improved Group Updates in Feeds – Group pictures can now be viewed in Feeds and you can also perform actions directly from the Feeds screen.

BBM Sticker Club – For the kids, BlackBerry have introduced a BBM Sticker Cbub. It’s advertised as “Get 100+ exclusive stickers and many new ones each month before anyone else”.

The update is available from the BlackBerry Beta Zone and from the Beta Zone app for those who are in the test group.
