Last updated:

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SoundCloud has announced SoundCloud Go, a new subscription service, going up against the likes of Spotify and Google Play Music.

Highlights of this new subscription service from SoundCloud include ad-free experiences and the ability to enjoy your favorite music when offline.

With SoundCloud Go, you get:

  • Even more tracks from emerging and established creators – including the massive hits, the latest tracks from the biggest names, the sounds of the underground, the most engaging podcasts and the best of what’s up-and-coming – all in one place
  • The ability to listen offline on your mobile device without a cell signal or internet connection
  • An uninterrupted, ad-free listening experience

For listeners, there are now two ways to experience SoundCloud. SoundCloud will continue to be the place to listen to, discover and share new tracks from emerging and established artists for free. With SoundCloud Go, the experience has also been expanded to include access to even more tracks, offline and ad-free:

“Emerging artists, upstart indies and brand new artists – the same community that brought countless up-and-coming creators to the mainstream is still here. Now, on the heels of licensing agreements with UMG, Sony, Merlin, Warner and others, tons of additional tracks will also be available right alongside your favorite new artists and indies. With SoundCloud Go, the catalog now includes a slew of new tracks and albums from the biggest names in music.”

User in the US can sign up for a free 30-day trial of SoundCloud Go here or through the latest version of the app.

After the first 30 days, it’s $9.99 per month (or $12.99 per month if purchased through the iOS app). You can cancel anytime.
