Dropbox mobile apps bring ability to Stay in flow

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dropbox has released a new update, implementing new features on its mobile apps, designed to make it far easier for users to use the content collaboration platform on-the-move.

With the latest additions to the Dropbox mobile app, users will be able to:

Stay up to date

All too often, the clutter that surrounds our work gets in the way of figuring out what to do next. That’s the idea behind the file activity feature, which helps you stay up to date on your work. Dropbox are bringing file activity together with file previews in the mobile app. Now, when you preview a file in your Dropbox, one tap will pull up a list of events, including edits, shares, and—for Dropbox Professional and Business Advanced users—viewer history. File activity is great for getting a quick pulse on how your work’s moving along, without disrupting your team’s flow.

Work as a team

The company has also brought that idea — helping you keep work moving without needing to drop everything — to the teamwork features in the mobile app. Users can now see a streamlined file preview design that lets you easily comment right alongside your content. At the bottom of any file preview, you can access teammates’ feedback, add your own, and get file activity updates.

Sharing buttons are now more prominent throughout the app, so you can quickly and easily send your work over to the people who need it.

Find what you need

When you’re on the go, the last thing you want to do is waste time tracking down your work. So a centralized Home screen has been added that brings you straight to your most important items, with starred files, and recent work in one place. And once you start browsing files, you can switch over to gallery view to see large thumbnails instead of a file list. This new feature is ideal for browsing visual content like photos and videos—and getting to the work you’re looking for.

The app also is making it easier to organize your files and work with other apps, with support for drag and drop in iOS 11. Within the Dropbox iOS app, you can now use drag and drop to organize your files and folders. And if you’re using an iPad, you can drag files between Dropbox and other apps.

File activity is available now on iOS and wil be rolling out soon on Android.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”104704″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Dropbox is a creative collaboration space designed to reduce busywork, bring your files together in one central place, and safely sync them across all your devices—so you can access them anytime, anywhere. And sending large files is easy, even to people who don’t have a Dropbox account. Features like the doc scanner, shared folders, offline access, and more make collaborating with others simple.

• Work on files with others through shared folders
• Use the doc scanner to turn receipts, whiteboards, and notes into PDFs
• Comment on files to share feedback with your team
• Sync, share, and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Dropbox offer a free 30-day trial and in-app purchases for Dropbox Plus.
