iCloud.com gets mobile support for Android/iOS web browsers

Last updated:

Apple has begun rolling out native support for iCloud.com on mobile browsers for both iOS and Android.

The new web app update allows four of iCloud.com’s most popular features (Photos, Notes, Reminders, and Find iPhone) to natively work smoothly on mobile web browsers, without having to switch to “desktop site”. You can also use Find iPhone but not the complete Find My app.

Everything is optimized for mobile, so it’s actually usable on a smaller display. And although some functionality has been stripped away, support for mobile devices is surprisingly good.

Android has received a new landing page with support for accessing iCloud Photos, Notes, Reminders and Find iPhone services. However, this landscape changes when you access the portal through an iPad and most likely other tablet-sized devices.

You get most of the functionality of Apple’s native apps with the experience naturally being a bit slower as it’s web-based.

There’s even support in the Photos mobile web app for uploading from folders, your Photos Library, or the camera of your device.

Head to iCloud.com on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device to check out the functionality.
