Hutchison Whampoa, the owner of Three, has promised to freeze prices for five years and sell off portions of its mobile spectrum holdings as it looks to push through its £10.25 billion acquisition of O2.

Competition and Markets Authority clears BT’s acquisition of EE
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has cleared BT’s anticipated acquisition of EE. The £12.5 billion acquisition brings together the UK’s largest fixed telecoms business and the UK’s largest mobile telecoms business.
