Nokia Networks and China Mobile have announced a framework agreement for mobile communication equipment and services valued at 970 million USD (760 million euros). The agreement was signed at the Sino-German Economic Forum in Berlin by Li Huidi, Vice President of China Mobile, and Hans-Juergen Bill, Executive Vice President at Nokia and also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nokia Networks GmbH & Co KG in Germany.

Yesterday we told you you about Nokia teasing HERE for Samsung devices and, as promised, Nokia today made the official announcement that the company has worked with Samsung to prepare for the arrival of HERE mapping on select Android smartphones and Tizen-powered smartwatches.

Nokia has just teased an announcement that will apparently bring HERE services to Samsung’s Gear line of smartwatches.
Nokia is going to unveil “HERE for Gear” tomorrow in London.
The teaser image, posted via the official HERE Twitter account, clearly uses Samsung’s Gear logo, so there’s no doubt that a Nokia and Samsung partnership is going to be announced.
Interestingly, Samsung currently offers several Gear smartwatches that run Tizen, and only one that runs Android Wear. Only earlier today, Samsung unveiled the company’s latest smartwatch, the curved, Tizen-based Samsung Gear S, which will be available later this year.
