With the new #Bendgate issue affecting the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Consumer Reports decided to conduct a series of tests to see how easily Apple’s new 5.5 inch smartphone bends in comparison with other models.
Consumer Reports, one of the few outlets that puts science into a test, has completed its own durability and Ã¢â‚¬Å“bendabilityÃ¢â‚¬Â (using a device called the Instron) testing of several flagship smartphones Ã¢â‚¬â€ the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5, HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and the LG G3. Each of these were put through a Ã¢â‚¬Å“three-point flexural testÃ¢â‚¬Â that tested its strength with various levels of pressure.

Results of the latest Student Buzz surveys conducted by Chegg, The Student Hub, show that with the anticipated iPhone 6 news, Apple is losing its cool factor among its technology contemporaries. While 71% of college and high school students rate Google as “cool,” and 72% say the same for Amazon, just 64% hold that belief for Apple Ã¢â‚¬â€œ while nearly a third think Apple is “smug” (29%).
